Henss Charity Foundation was started by the Estate of Late Chief Effiom Henry Etim in memoriam.

He was a renowned Efik businessman of the early eighties, a great philanthropist, popularly known as HENSS within Cross River and Akwa Ibom States of Nigeria.

The Foundation will continue his legacy of giving and impact the lives of the less privileged and the vulnerable in society.

Doctors and volunteers provided free consultations, screenings, and medications to hundreds of residents in underserved communities.

Specialist teams conducted screenings and distributed reading glasses to community members who had never received proper eye care.

We have aspirations for a continent-wide impact. Our Foundation is committed to fostering collaboration and partnerships with Government Agencies, NGOs, and individuals who share our vision. By joining forces, we aim to collectively pursue mutual objectives that contribute to the commmon good. Our long-term vision includes expanding our footprint to make meaningful impact at the continental level. Through strategic alliances and shared values, we strive to create a more inclusive and sustainable future for communities across the nation and, ultimately, the entire African continent.

HUMANITY | EMPOWERMENT | IMPACT

The three words above encapsulate the essence of HENSS CHARITY FOUNDATION: a charitable nongovernmental organisation founded in honour of my late father, Chief Effiom Henry Etim, who was widely known as HENSS in important cycles within the Cross River and Akwa Ibom State region of Nigeria.

We have set out to establish a sustainable organisation that will focus primarily on improving the lives of the indigents, particularly the indigent youths, to empower them through training, skill acquisition and scholarships, to empower local communities through funding of social impact projects.

We see a great future that would forge the required partnerships in the private and public sectors for sustainable social impact projects across the length and breadth of Nigeria and beyond.

To achieve our mission, we will listen, we will observe, we will learn and we will collaborate. We may start small but we will keep our dreams big.
